24 Frames Project
The 24 frames project was quite challenging for me because I kept trying to think of ideas but couldn’t decide on one. I remember thinking about how I had ample time to decide. Yet when I put time aside to decide on a topic, my mind went blank. I decided to just keep the project simple and create a story where my brother woke up sick in the middle of the night and nursed himself to wellness. I don’t think the execution was exactly how I had envisioned, but I was just grateful to have a subject for this project.
In hindsight, I don’t know what I could’ve done differently. It was like I was creatively bankrupt at the time and just chose a topic to finish the assignment. The frames I captured were decent. The frame where my brother was in my bed did have too much light though. I wish I would’ve either turned the lamp off or faced the lamp towards the ceiling so the light wasn’t too harsh on his face. These lessons are lessons I can take with me for my next project so I wouldn’t say this project was wasted time at all. I think it was a cool project and wish I had an influx of ideas long before the due date.
