24 Frames
Even though I wrote down a general outline of what each of the 24 photos was going to be in the story, it was difficult to realize what kind of framing and composition I wanted in order to portray that story. What I thought I could accomplish shooting in one afternoon ended up being two afternoons under the glaring sun. As I was working, I kept thinking, “Are people gonna understand what just happened in this next frame?” And so I second-guessed myself many times, ultimately delaying getting all the shots in the time frame that I wanted. Looking at the end product, I am still not fully satisfied I told the story I wanted but I am grateful for the experience this project gave me.
