The Fair Lady
This video was based on the tension between the upper and lower classes, specifically in England, during the time of My Fair Lady. What if Eliza was thrown out after becoming a lady? She now was upper-class but originated in the lower class. She no longer belongs to either of them. She does not have the income of an upper-class lady but she knows how to act like one. How can she live on the streets again? In the end, she may not find beauty in her social status and relationships but in herself. She let the flower girl side of her die on the streets but now that she is back on the streets, she remembers her whole identity and feels complete. She is not someone’s fair lady. She is her own fair lady.
