Goodfellas

The first time I saw this movie I was 9 years old and thought it was boring and asked my cousin to put something else. The reason for that was because I was a stupid child. Goodfellas is a masterpiece and when I finally watched it through at the age of 15 I realized just  how good it was. Every single aspect of this film is done damn near perfectly and has aged like fine wine. It is not in my top 3 Scorsese films but that is just a testament to the greatness of Scorsese and how consistent his films have been in terms of quality. I love this movie and rewatch it a few times every year just to remind myself of how truly great this film is.
