The last shoot of the year for 4381 Productions
Yesterday was a fun and emotional night at the School of Theater, I got to film a play with 4381 productions about a woman going through her past and coming to terms with her age and the passing of her mother.
I wasn’t expecting to be working with Brett Cullen, although I believe it was mentioned a month ago but in my surprise I ended up learning a lot about myself as a camera operator and I felt a connection to this play. It’s no secret that I have been dealing with a lot since last year with hurricane Harvey destroy my family home and my brother passing a few months later, so filming this play gave me a since my own emotions and helped me move on (if not for just a little bit).
“I’m too sensitive!”, I use to think but after last night with being able to handle my emotions and not panic when the camera shut off on me twice because of the memory card and battery dying, they’re was a growth in confidence in me that night.
So I want to thank everyone I’ve worked with in 4381 productions because if it wasn’t for them, I’d never had made this step to my career and honestly better outlook on life. I hope I get to work with all of you again and I promise I will use this new inspiration to aim higher as well as be fearless.
