Boom on Set

The first day of shooting The Painting. My first time volunteering as the boom operator. My responsibility of the boom operator is to record sound with a microphone. Mostly, to aim and hold the microphone as close to the actors. Next to me is audio. To hear and make sure the audio is great. Throughout the day, it was great experience. I got to learn new positions of holding the mic. I wear audio headphones to know what the mic picks up. I did very great job. Everyone did great as well. I guess it was “booooming”.
