Film Bitten: Vivian Maier

For the past few weeks I’ve been smitten. I’ve fallen in love with film photography in such a major way. I love patience it requires of you. Film has inspired me to really live in the moment, and open my eyes more to the beauty all around us. The intricate details and craftsmanship that goes with it the entire experience has touched my approach on my work in the digital world.

While in search of new inspiration I found a documentary on a brilliant film photographer Vivian Maier. I’ve included some of her photos in this post. Her story is quite intriguing. Feel free to watch the documentary I’ve included below. I hope it will leave you as inspired and amazed as it left me.
