Fincher and Jackson – Who Is It.
For the past few weeks, I’ve been engulfed in the wonderful world of Music Video. This weekend as I was preparing for a shoot, I came across some of the greatest cinematography I’ve seen in the wonderful world of music video.
David Fincher’s work in Michael Jackson’s short film – Who Is it – is some of the best that I’ve seen. David Fincher has been nominated for two academy awards for best director for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and The Social Network. He’s also responsible for the cult classic Fight Club.
The short film has great use of color and light. It also references one of Michael’s earlier works : Billie Jean. I’ve included some of the stills and the link to the video above. Check it out.
