I’m motivated
Starting at 4381 with so little experience was a bit nervewrecking, but we are never really ready for anything until we do it.
The first day I entered the studio, I knew I was the person with the least experience in the room, but soon enough I felt like I was home. I’m doing exactly what I like and being a little, or a lot behind doesn’t mean a thing when you are genuinely passionate about something.
Our first project came and I learned a lot from it. I learned a lot about the production process, the immense importance of pre-production, and I know it will help me on my future personal productions as well as the productions along with the group. I also learned that my lack of experience will soon disappear and my passion for filmmaking will only grow.
I think it’s needless to say that I’m really motivated and looking forward for the projects that will come in the following weeks.
You were wonderful Guillermo! Can’t wait to see what you do in our coming projects. By the way, Steven Speilberg – one of my favorite directors – said he always starts each film as if he knows nothing. He said if he feels like he has it all figured out he knows the film will be a disaster. Don’t worry about not having much experience, we are all here learning right along with you. A film can be one big problem to solve – or picture rather.
